At A-1 Heat & Air, we’ve been servicing Central Florida here in Orlando since 1987. Keith Powers, our owner, started in the HVAC trade at 18, working for the company as its third employee. He left in 1998 but never burned a bridge—buying the business in 2013 and fully paying it off in 2023. His decision to return was driven by a desire to fix what he saw going wrong in the industry.

Keith brings 44 years of experience to the table and leads with perseverance, hands-on training, and a customer-first mindset. We’ve weathered industry changes—from refrigerant shortages to Google’s shifting algorithms—while continuing to evolve. Our team includes highly trained technicians, many of whom are trade school graduates with at least five years of experience.

We stand by our work and offer a full range of HVAC services, including HVAC change-outs, HVAC service and repair, maintenance, commercial HVAC solutions, and duct cleaning and blown-in insulation. Our team handles each job with clear communication, solid workmanship, and attention to safety standards.
