About A-1 Heat & Air

The same name on the van since 1987.

A-1 Heat & Air is a family-owned HVAC company serving Orlando and Central Florida. Keith Powers, our president, runs it today. Call (407) 290-9517.

What we are, and what we are not

We repair, replace and maintain heating and air conditioning for homes and businesses across Greater Orlando, and we have done it since 1987. The company is licensed and insured, and we are a Daikin dealer.

We are a flat-rate company: you hear the price before the work starts. We are also a company where a person answers the phone. During office hours that is someone at our office; after hours a live answering service picks up. There is no chatbot and no AI booking system, and there will not be one.

Our techs are experienced people who have done this many times before. We train them to explain what they find in plain words and to recommend only what the system needs.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Experience counts We hire qualified technicians who do the job right, with skill and care.
  • Integrity always Flat-rate pricing, honest recommendations and no hidden surprises.
  • Customer focused We go the extra mile to make things right. Long-term trust is earned, not promised.
  • Rooted in the community We live and work in the same neighborhoods we serve.
  • Reachable when it matters A real person answers, and after hours a live answering service picks up.
  • Comfort made predictable Upfront pricing and maintenance plans that reduce surprise costs and extend system life.

Serving those who serve
